Ratiodata is one of the largest system houses and service providers for banking technology and document digitalization. Every day, Ratiodata provides its customers with innovative ideas for digitalization. Now with COYO, they have digitalized their own workplace. With their Digital Home, they can reach all employees nationwide, whether they are at one of the 14 locations or in the field.
In the meantime, corporate communication takes place exclusively via COYO, and there is now also an extensive feedback culture. The employees have their say, and have a voice about what is happening in their company. The communities are used intensively. Here, in the Digital Home, processes are discussed and customer projects are planned. But COYO is not the only thing keeping Ratiodata on the same level as its employees; the issue of sustainability is also a deeply rooted value within the company.
As a tool for Radiodata, COYO should…
Nicola Ropohl, Sustainability Officer at Ratiodata is, among other things, responsible for the “GreenDay.” This year, for World Environment Day, extensive campaigns were declared under the motto “Mobility” to raise awareness of environmentally friendly mobility.
The “GreenDay” should also reach the employees, with planned on-site activities. Like so much in 2020, all planned campaigns had to be cancelled due to the pandemic. Was all the organizers’ effort in vain? No!
Without further ado, the project team approached the Social Intranet team. Together, they considered whether and how the campaign could be implemented on COYO. It was soon clear: we do it completely digital! This campaign shows how well and easily companies can adapt COYO to fit their needs.
“Above all, the completely digital implementation with the help of COYO enabled us to authentically design and individually express the idea of sustainability,” says Nicola Ropohl, delighted.
“Because of the user-friendly and versatile tools in COYO, I was able to move the content and campaigns effortlessly.”
The new colleague car-sharing service established via a Community was probably the most non-mobile challenge that day. Many other campaigns, on the other hand, were made to get people up and moving, and this was something that was not easy to represent digitally. “Instead, we provided useful suggestions on how to get moving.” Among other things, the employees were able to share their progress in the Step Challenge via COYO, and thereby keep the competition going.
Those who also submitted a photo of COYO from their walk actively supported a relief project: “For each photo submitted, we will donate to the ‘World Bicycle Relief’ development project, a project that helps people in the underdeveloped regions of Africa to get around on bicycles.”
Those who opened their Digital Home at Ratiodata on World Environment Day did not see the usual screen: instead of the standard light blue company color, the color of the day was a fresh green. The large embedded teaser also attracted additional attention. A separate page was filled in advance with specialist information and instructive videos. Over the course of the day, the employees participated with numerous links to additional articles.
We say “hats off” for a great concept, as well as an excellently implemented first digital campaign day. We are happy to report that the Ratiodata team especially enjoyed COYO’s flexibility on this day.
“Without extensive configurations or even investments, we were able to implement our project without any problems. The employees in the field were also able to follow the ‘GreenDay’ live on their smartphones - we reached all our colleagues.”
