On top of this, we have some useful news from the **event domain** for you. Let’s get started! ### Enhance COYO with plug-ins Would you like to add new features to COYO? That’s not a problem: Starting with **Release 27**, plug-ins can be developed to add certain features to COYO. These plug-ins can then be used as **widgets** within COYO. Maintenance is controlled via a corresponding **access right**. 👨🏼‍💻 **Need help?** No problem: We offer a **guide** to help plug-in developers implement their ideas. ![medium-Plugins, Release Notes 27](https://3847057.hs-sites.com/hs-fs/hubfs/medium-Plugins%2c%20Release%20Notes%2027.jpg?width=600&name=medium-Plugins%2c%20Release%20Notes%2027.jpg) 👉🏻** Important:** The API is currently still a beta version, but it will be **continually enhanced** to allow developers to implement increasingly sophisticated use cases. You can find all information [here](https://knowledgebase.coyoapp.com/hc/de/articles/360015740959).   ### **Events** When creating events, it is now possible to not only invite [**entire communities**](https://www.coyoapp.com/blog/release26), but **all subscribers to a site** as well. (This feature can be controlled by rights and roles.) In addition, public events can now be created using the Event app. ![medium-User chooser, Release Notes 27](https://3847057.hs-sites.com/hs-fs/hubfs/medium-User%20chooser%2c%20Release%20Notes%2027.jpg?width=600&name=medium-User%20chooser%2c%20Release%20Notes%2027.jpg)   ### Name change: workspaces become communities With Release 27, the “Workspaces” feature has been renamed as “Communities”. **Why?** We noticed that the term “workspace” does not reflect what we envision for our COYO employee experience tool. But don’t worry: If you have already made **adjustments** to the language key, these will **not** be overwritten. For more details and all the relevant information about the name change, go to the [**COYO Campus**](https://knowledgebase.coyoapp.com/hc/de/articles/360015617540-Workspaces-werden-zu-Communities).    --- #### Need help?
