With its many apps and services, Microsoft 365 (M365 for short) offers you a complex product that covers a wide range of special use cases, from collaboration to user management. As soon as you decide to take your internal communications to the next level, however, to communicate not only top-down but also bottom-up, vertically and horizontally and to provide a digital home as a single source of truth to all employees, you quickly come up against your limits in the world of the US technology company. These limits will also be noticed by most of your users, who should actually be encouraged to participate. Often they get lost in the depths and complexity of the many Microsoft tools, some of which are very similar.

Challenge

Our customers’ experience shows that the challenge often only begins when the objective is to reach all employees without excluding anyone (anymore). If the various employee groups are then to be actively involved in communications, one quickly loses track of the multiplicity of tools offered by M365. COYO's 360° Employee Communications Platform lets you reach all employees and benefit from a transparent exchange of knowledge between all hierarchical levels – irrespective of the end device used for this purpose. So should you use COYO alongside M365? Absolutely! From our point of view, the M365 and COYO complement each other perfectly and lay a comprehensive basis for an efficient, all-inclusive and clearly structured digital workplace.

Two customer examples

Based on the success stories of our customers, Vorwerk and RheinEnergie AG, we will show you what a successful mix of COYO and M365 can look like.

1. Vorwerk

Our customer Vorwerk (known for the Thermomix among other things) uses a combination of M365 and COYO to offer all employees a digital platform that makes their everyday lives easier. Agility, mobile availability, information accessible at any time, and an opportunity to exchange views and ideas were particularly important for the long-established family business. COYO and Microsoft 365 share a common goal: promoting a digital workplace. For more information about the special requirements on both platforms, on how the corporate culture has changed and more, please read our success story.

2. RheinEnergie AG

Following the introduction of COYO's social intranet (referred to as MingNet), the next challenge was the introduction of Microsoft 365 and Teams. The solution was a clear change and communications strategy, including training and pilot groups. The resulting added value:

1. High acceptance for the introduction of Teams

2. Attracting great interest from the workforce thanks to change support

3. Ensuring a quick start to digital collaboration even during the pandemic
